For this issue's theme, "The Cusp of Summer," the goal was to represent the transition from late spring to early summer. Using the language of editorial design, typographic ornaments (dingbats) were employed to depict this seasonal shift. By combining different typefaces, arrows and flower shapes were incorporated and arranged within a text block.
